1.Roll the tape around the axis, arrange the edge of the sample to be tested over the axis and in contact with the tape
2.Set the edge tester to 1.35LBS (6N)
3.The handle activates the switch, then turns on, the motor begins to rotate so that the axis rotates in a circle, the edge of the sample to be tested leaves a mark on the tape
4.Then remove the tape from the axis, and check: if the tape is scratched more than 1/2 inch in length, the edge is sharp, The product is not up to standard.
