Shoelace Abrasion Tester.Shoes eyelet and laces wear test machine is used to test shoelaces repeated friction standards and eyelet rub fastness, or determination of the friction properties of the shoes eyelet on the standard shoelace.
The instrument is suitable for all types of laces and eyelets.
The laces will be rubbed at a fixed angle where they are in contact with the ring. The laces are then fixed with standard weights throughout the abrasion test until the laces break
